Articles Susan's Sojourn #1 By Susan McGarvey Published: April 19, 2007  Print  EmailWe praise God for the sale of our home in Pennsylvania. Our house was on the market for a year and a half and many times we wondered what God had in store, always reminding ourselves that the sale of our home was not a difficult task for God, who knows the beginning from the end. After a year and a half on the market we had only 3 weeks to pack and vacate during the coldest and windiest week-end of the winter. Thanks so much to the people from our home church who so graciously helped us and braved the elements. We are presently living with Joel's mom awaiting our son Paul's graduation from high school in June. We laughingly tell people that we are now homeless. As June approaches the excitement mounts as we anticipate a summer full of ministry. Each week of the summer is now full and we praise God for his wisdom in knowing where to send us to share the gospel. The schedule for the summer includes 5 Vacation Bible Schools as well as 4 Cowboy camps and a Bible Conference. We have begun the task of packing and planning and can hardly wait for the time to come. What a priviledge we have been given to travel, share the gospel, lead souls to Christ and meet so many wonderful saints laboring across the country. We enjoyed spending time with the folks at Bedford Valley Bible Chuch in Centerville, PA in March and Grace Bible Fellowship in Ridgley, WVA. in April. These saints have become frinds and partners in our ministry. We would ask you to keep us in your prayers daily as we prepare for the summer, for open hearts and minds to the preciuos gospel, for safe travel, good health, and that we would be found faithful.
