Dear praying and concerns friends! Here it is the first week of June already. We are almost all packed up and ready to leave for our summer ministry. The trailer with all the "stuff" in it for Cowboy Camp is ready and all that remains is to get the motor home ready and all the "stuff" for Vacation Bible Schools, Crossroads Crusades, etc. gathered together and in place. Then, there is always the question "what did we forget?" And believe me there is always something very important (usually written down on a list somewhere that gets misplaced) that get's forgotten. We not only take the usual - food, clothes, etc. - but have to bring the "office" with us. It is always a challenge. But as we get ready and check things off the many lists, we pray that we will have safety on the highway, and above all a great harvest of souls for the Lord Jesus. Anyway, we leave this coming Friday afternoon (June 8th) and will be on our way to Alpha, Kentucky where we will help them with their Vacation Bible School. We have two of our granddaughters coming with us this summer - Saige and Sierra. We are looking forward to a good time with them and a good time of ministry. Our schedule is full for the summer what with two Vacation Bible Schools, King's Camp near Butler, Pennsylvania and of course, the Cowboy Camps. The highlight of April was our daughter, Cari's wedding. She was married in Des Moines, Iowa on April 20th to Frank Fasano. Lee had the privilege of performing the ceremony. I thought it was a beautiful wedding and everything went well. We are happy for them and proud of both of them. We spent a few days in De Moines and enjoyed meeting many of Frank's family and Cari and Frank's friends. Then, too there were many friends and family that came to be a part of the wedding and that was a joy to be able to spend a brief time with them. Cowboy Lee had opportunity to "ride again" at the Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Kent City as well as bring a report of ministry in Sunday School and preach the morning message. Also, we were privileged to present the Cowboy Camps at the Rush Creek Bible Church to the youth during the Sunday School hour. We visited other area churches to present the ministry of Bible Doctrines. It is a joy to fellowship with others that love the Lord Jesus. For six weeks, we all excitedly followed Rich Zandstra as he rode his bike from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic - 2600 miles! That was a great accomplishment. It was his retirement celebration and a way to help us with the financial needs of Cowboy Camps. Many people donated monies from .01 cent a mile to .50 a mile to Cowboy Camp. We have needed to get some more and better equipment and this will enable us to do this. It was a fun day when we met Rich at the airport and congratulate him on this accomplishment and thank him for his contribution to Cowboy Camp. Rich is going to participate in the Pennsylvania camp again this year helping with the cooking and the horsemanship. Thanks Rich! As I'm writing this, I ask you to pray for our Office Manager, Jan Bultema. Jan has been in the hospital (just got home today) for several days suffering from "C-Diff" which is an infection that is a result of Anti-biotic therapy. She has really been sick and needs our prayers as she spends time at home recuperating. Also, we ask that you pray for us and for Joel and Susan McGarvey as we begin our summer travels. The high cost of fuel is of great concern but we know our God is able. Pray that we would have safety on the highway and that the Lord will supply the spiritual and physical strength needed to complete our schedules. We still have room for more Cowboys and Cowgirls to join in on the Cowboy Camps. Please call us for more information (616) 785-3618 or check out or web site bdtlb.org for information and applications. Then, too, don't forget the Grace Revival for Evangelism coming up October 2-5 in Branson, Missouri. Plans and schedules are coming together nicely and we are anticipating a great time of blessing. It is not too late to register for the Conference. Again, just call the office for information. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at the Conference. May the Lord bless you and thank you for your prayers. Keep looking up! Winning, working and waiting, 2 Cor. 5:21 Dolly Homoki
